About me

My practice as a therapist stretches back over more than a decade, in settings that include healthcare, education, community and workplace counselling. While working for a Children’s Service in 2009 I helped develop and deliver a one-to-one gardening therapy service for disengaged adolescents. I have been in private practice in London since 2012, working from clinics in London Bridge and West Norwood.

I am also a musician and before becoming a therapist had a long career in the music business. This gives me a unique insight into the mental, emotional and physical demands of working in the creative and entertainment industries.

As a therapist, my core training is in person centred therapy with additional specialist qualifications in existential therapy, trauma, PTSD and body-based therapies.

I am registered and accredited by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions (you can view the framework here). I undertake regular professional training to maintain high standards in my practice, have regular clinical supervision and am fully insured.
